So I managed to get through another run of Magisters Terrace and I managed to come out of it with:
Axe of Shattered Dreams
2h Axe, BOP,
93.3 dps,
48 stam
70 ap, "Your attacks ignore 224 of your opponent's armor."
now, as i have not yet been able to get around to getting an S3 axe, I have been using a Crystalforged War Axe
Now, practically speaking, the difference is:
1 dps(white), 1.22% crit chance, and a whopping 20hp vs 224 armor ignoring.
it seems like the new axe is most likely better. ... but I am not exactly sure how this particular attribute works. does it apply to every shot? hows it scale to different situations? ect.
I hope to work out being able to get the S3 hunter axe some time preferably sooner than later, but until then...
oh, and Holey-snap this thing looks way the heck better in an aesthetic sense.
oh and if anyone cares, Kael also dropped Kharmaa's Ring of Fate and the only other non-sharded/junk drop that I can remember was a Steelweave cloak enchant (12 def to a cloak)
the bottom line of this... does anyone have any links or direct elaboration on how this particular thing works? it seems like something that could easily be much more or less beneficial than it looks on the surface.
