Wow Paradise and powerlevel practice

So I managed to get through another run of Magisters Terrace and I managed to come out of it with:

This is like the song that never ends. It goes on and on my friends. Who knew there was so much to say about casting faster? I swear this is the last week of it. I'll find something... anything... else to talk about next week. Just stick it out. You can do it!

For a bit of a recap, Part 1 explained how you can reduce casting lag, the first step in getting your heals to land faster. This week I'm going to finish the series with an in-depth look at the remaining haste gear by class, including what's available now and what's coming up in Patch 2.4.

Do we need tanks?

Blizzard says we do, and it's an old standard of the MMO genre that someone stands up front and annoys the monster into hitting him, so that healing can be concentrated and DPS doesn't have to take a beating that would likely kill it. But do we really need tanks, or should the game move away from emphasis on the tanking/DPS/healing troika?

So I was leveling on an alt in the Wetlands, when I saw another lowbie accompanied by a lvl 70 Paladin. I noticed he had Blessing of Sanctuary up, so as I usually do when I run into fellow Prot. Paladins, I inspected him, and was greeted with this:

Me: Why on earth don't you have Avenger's Shield or Improved Holy Shield? :|
Him: im poor

Me: That's no excuse... go do some quests in outlands
Him: ill get right on that
Him: doctor wow

Me: As someone who's had a prot pally since before we had a taunt, it upsets me to see someone without those two talents

(This is indeed true. I still have my full Deathbone set in the bank.)

Him: It's just a game, relaxxx
Me: Football is just a game, but if a team were only playing with 7 players...
Him: to deep for me

I stop talking to him at this point. Personally, I think the analogy I was trying to draw there was pretty straightforward.

o Nethermancer Sepethrea's Frost Attack now reduces movement speed by 25% rather than 50%.
o The Cache of the Legion can now only be looted by players who are present during some portion of a successful attempt of the Gatewatcher Gyro-Kill and Gatewatcher Iron-Hand encounters. In addition, on Heroic difficulty Gatewatcher Gyro-Kill and Gatewatcher Iron-Hand no longer drop [Badges of Justice]. Instead, the Cache of the Legion contains a Badge of Justice for each player present.
